The following is a Google Hangout I had with my mother and wife Roxanna. After taking at least 90 minutes to setup the hangout on my mothers' computer, I decided to change the topic on the fly. Instead of talking about the recent revelations of good teacher qualifications/characteristics based on research and student feedback, I made the decision to talk about tech integration into curriculum and how it supports the learning of necessary digital skills. There were some hiccups along the way. My son wasn't enjoying sitting on my lap, and my mother wasn't wearing headphones (she doesn't like them), leading to some very noticeable echo and distortion. Overall, it was a fun experience and we'll probably do it again :-)
